TSgt Zachary Moore

I am TSgt Zachary Moore, an active duty enlisted Air Force recruiter in Staunton, VA. In the 8 years that I’ve been in the Air Force, I have been stationed in California (Beale AFB), Georgia (Robins AFB), and now here in Staunton, VA. My amazing wife, Haley, and I have four children, Virginia, Magnolia, Laurel, and Benjamin. Originally from Hamilton, Georgia, after graduating high school I worked for the County Water Works but dreamed of doing something MORE. I wanted a better way to pay for school, to travel, to become independent, and to create real opportunities for myself and my family. More than anything, I wanted to do something meaningful with my life.

I worked for the County for roughly 5 years then joined the Air Force on 22 May 2012. Following the enlistment process, I entered the Air Force with the promise of becoming a Power Production specialist (3E0x2).

BMT on Lackland AFB, TX was followed by Tech School on Sheppard AFB, TX where I spent 8 weeks learning my job. My first duty station was on Beale AFB, CA. It was there that we had our first two children. We then moved to Georgia (Robins AFB), had two more blessings, and now live here in Staunton, VA.
